Success, SPJM Deep Sea Pilotage in the Malacca Strait
Medan (Maritimnews) – PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (SPJM), a subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) successfully carried out Deep Sea Pilotage activities to serve the MT Delta Euridyce ship in the Malacca Strait, Tuesday (28/5).
SPJM received a request for pilotage services for the MT Delta Euridyce vessel weighing 81,293 tonnes with a draft of 15.6 meters in Malacca waters, on the Berhala route to the Nipah STS (Ship to Ship) area.
SPJM’s Director of Strategy and Commercial, Yossianis Marciano, expressed his appreciation to all parties, especially to the scouts who had succeeded in safely carrying out their duties as Deep Sea Pilotage in the Malacca Strait.
The handling of the large ship measuring 274.22 meters long and 48 meters wide was carried out by two PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) employee pilots named Capt Assyaif Al Adilin and Capt Rustam Effendi who were considered successful in serving Deep Sea Pilotage requests.
